A dedicated Flipkart microsite has gone live, revealing the HMD Vibe 2 5G launch date in India for May 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. This also confirms the phone's exclusive availability via the e-commerce platform. Thanks to this microsite, a bunch of the HMD Vibe 2 5G key specifications have also come to light.

The HMD Vibe 2 5G is showcased in a Cosmic Lavender colour option with a horizontal edge-to-edge camera module that has been in trend lately. This module is seen housing two cameras and an LED flash. We also know that the main camera will be a 50 MP AI lens.
HMD has also beautified the phone with a dual-finish back, which will most likely be made out of plastic. There's a subtle glossy finish to it and as per the microsite, the phone will also bring some durability to the table with an IP64 rating.
At the front, the phone features "big screen, big vibes" with a 6.74-inch HD+ display. The microsite also confirms that the phone will pack a big 6,000mAh battery. On the software front, the HMD Vibe 2 5G will run on a "Clean & Secure OS".
HMD Vibe 2 5G Price in India and Availability
While nothing can be said about the HMD Vibe 2 5G India pricing, since the first HMD Vibe launched for Rs 8,999, we can expect the successor to land between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000. The expected price hike is due to the ongoing RAM crisis, which has been inflating smartphone prices a lot lately.
