After the Honor 400 series, it is now time for the Honor 500 lineup to launch in China. The brand has already started teasing both the Honor 500 and the 500 Pro and now, it has shared the official design and some key details of both phones.
Honor 500 series brings an iPhone Air-like design with a 200 MP camera
The official Weibo handle of Honor posted a short teaser revealing the design of the Honor 500 and the Honor 500 Pro. Both phones are already available to pre-order starting today, that is, November 13, 2025.

At first glance, it is immediately clear where Honor has drawn inspiration for the 500 lineup from. Both phones feature a vertical edge-to-edge pill-shaped camera bar, just like the iPhone Air. However, unlike the Air's single camera, the standard 500 features a dual camera setup. The Honor 500 Pro takes it a notch up with a triple camera module.
Also, unlike the iPhone Air's rounded edges, the 500 series will feature a flat profile from the looks of it. The back panel appears to be matted out, while the frame appears to be metal based on the antenna lines. Even the display at the front is flat with very minimal and uniform bezels. Interestingly, there is now a new AI button on the right side of the smartphone, much like the Camera Control button on iPhones.

Honor says that it is using a cold-carved finish to create a seamless transition between the back panel and the camera deco. Moreover, it has also confirmed that both phones will bring a 200 MP main camera.
Aside from that, the now live pre-order links have revealed that both phones will be available in Aquamarine, Starlight Pink, Obsidian Black and Moonlight Silver colourways. As for the RAM and storage, both the Honor 500 and the 500 Pro will start from 12 GB + 256 GB. However, only the Pro model will offer a 16 GB + 1 TB variant.

The brand is yet to reveal other details, but it does say that the smartphones will "boast superior configurations, delivering a dual-superior experience". The recent Honor 500 Geekbench listing revealed the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor for the smartphone. The Pro model, on the other hand, is said to gain the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Other than that, both models are expected to bring a 1.5K 120 Hz OLED display, over 8,000mAh battery, 80W fast charging support, MagicOS 10 and more. That said, Honor is yet to reveal the exact launch date of the upcoming phones, so stay tuned.
