Following its brief global debut at MWC, Honor has launched the Magic V6 foldable smartphone in China. Since the global unveiling was just an announcement, Honor did not reveal the phone's pricing. The local launch finally reveals the cost and brings exclusive battery upgrades.

Honor Magic V6 China Variant gets a Beefed up Battery

Spotted first by GSMArena on Honor's official storefront, the Honor Magic V6 is now available for purchase in China. The most significant change for the Chinese variant is the inclusion of a much larger 7,150mAh Silicon-Carbon battery compared to the global variant with a 6,600mAh battery.

The battery on the China variant is divided into two tiers. The usual 256 GB and 512 GB storage variants get 6,850mAh battery, whereas the top-tier 16 GB + 1 TB variant gets a 7,150mAh battery. Charging speeds remain the same, though, at 80W wired and 66W wireless.

Aside from the enhanced batteries and the addition of dual physical SIM slots, the Chinese variants retain the impressive hardware showcased at MWC. The foldable is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and features a 7.95-inch main folding display paired with a 6.52-inch cover display.

Optics-wise, there's a triple-camera setup with the highlight being the 64 MP periscope snapper, which is capable of 3x optical zoom. The other two cameras are 50 MP main and ultrawide snappers. The smartphone runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and is protected by an IP68/69 water and dust resistance rating.

Honor Magic V6 Price in China

Coming to the pricing, the smartphone is now available for pre-order in China, with deliveries scheduled to kick off on March 13, 2026. Here's a breakdown of the prices:

  • 12 GB + 256 GB: 8,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 1,20,000)
  • 12 GB + 512 GB: 9,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 1,33,000)

  • 16 GB + 1 TB: 11,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 1,60,000)

Unfortunately, there's still no word on the global pricing, and the foldable phone certainly won't be arriving in India. A Europe launch could be on the cards, and we should hear more about the pricing there soon.
