Alongside the Magic 8 series phones, Honor has unveiled the MagicPad 3 Pro. It's a flagship tablet and the first one to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Here's everything you need to know about the MagicPad 3 Pro. 

Honor powers up the MagicPad 3 Pro with a massive 12,450mAh battery

The MagicPad 3 Pro features a 13.3-inch 3.2K LCD display that has a 165 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,100 nits. Its design has a major resemblance to Honor's recent MagicPad 3, with a 5.79mm thin aluminium profile and a square-shaped module for the rear cameras.

On the inside is where the tablet's biggest highlight is. The tablet is powered by the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which also powers the Honor Magic 8 Pro. This is paired with up to 512 GB of storage and 16 GB of RAM and runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 6. 

For power, the MagicPad 3 Pro gets its juice from a 12,450mAh battery which supports 80W fast charging. Honor is offering a 66W charging brick out of the box. As for the camera, the Honor tablet equips a 13 MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 2 MP macro lens. The front of the device has a 9 MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

In terms of connectivity, the tablet features Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. The brand is offering Magic Pencil 3 and a smart touch keyboard as additional accessories. Audio-wise, the MagicPad 3 Pro boasts an 8-speaker setup alongside three built-in microphones for audio and video calls.

Lastly, Honor has also launched a 12.5-inch version of its existing MagicPad 3 tablet. It features the same internals including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 13 MP rear and 8 MP front cameras, 10,100mAh battery while packing a smaller 12.5-inch 3K 165 Hz LCD screen. 

MagicPad 3 Pro is up for pre-orders in China

The Honor MagicPad 3 Pro arrives in three colours – Glossy Gold, Starry Sky Gray and Moon Shadow White. The tablet is available in three storage variants: 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB and 16 GB + 512 GB. Its base variant starts at 3,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 49,300) and all models are available for pre-order on the official Honor store in China.

MagicPad 3 12.5-inch, on the other hand, is available in Starry Night, Moon Shadow White, Purple and Pine Tree Green colours for a starting price of 2,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 37,000).
