Smartphone brands in India are consistently hiking prices of their phones amidst the ongoing RAM crisis, which has crippled consumers beyond repair. With price hikes becoming the new norm, every smartphone brand has either increased the prices of previously launched phones or debuted newer, more expensive ones. The latest victims of this trend are four popular iQOO and Vivo phones.

While both iQOO and Vivo are yet to release an official statement regarding the price increase, we already know the reason. As the memory crisis continues to progress, smartphone prices keep rising daily. Just recently, the Nothing Phone (4a) series got a price hike, which was earlier followed by a second price hike for the OnePlus Nord 6.
Even the iQOO 15, iQOO 15R and the iQOO Neo 10 are sitting on their second price hike in two months. Hence, it has become impossible to predict how the smartphone market will play for the rest of 2026. In case you are looking to purchase a new phone, the best time is now. A delay in purchase decision will mean paying extra going forward.
