A few days back, Indian smartphone maker Lava announced the arrival of its latest mid-range contender, the Lava Blaze Dragon, in India. It is said to be a performance-first device that's aimed at users who demand more out of their device, at an affordable price point. Now, the brand has officially revealed the launch date of the device.
The official Amazon microsite for the Blaze Dragon smartphone is now live with the July 25, 2025 launch date. The device will go official in the subcontinent at 12:00 PM IST and will be sold exclusively via Amazon in the Country.

The listing has also revealed the back design of the device in a Gold colourway. It appears to bear a glossy back finish that can react to light based on how it falls on it. There is a dual camera setup in the top-left corner with a highly reflective camera island. It is home to a 50 MP primary sensor and an undisclosed secondary lens. There is also a dual tone pill-shaped LED Flash module.
There will also be a matte black variant of the device with a glossy camera module featuring a rainbow effect. This colourway was revealed by known tipster Mukul Sharma via X. He also revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone in the same post.

The device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will most likely feature an LCD display on the front, with a waterdrop notch-styled 8 MP selfie camera and a sizeable bottom chin bezel.
Apart from this, the Blaze Dragon is expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W USB-C charging support. It will most likely target the Rs 10,000 ballpark and will compete with the likes of the Vivo T4 Lite and the iQOO Z10 Lite. The key difference will be the UFS 3.1 storage, which both the iQOO and Lava devices lack.
With that said, these are still rudimentary in nature, so take them with a pinch of salt. However, since the launch is just a week away, we won't have to wait long to learn the official specs and pricing of the Lava Blaze Dragon for India.
