Until now, Reminders in Nothing's Essential Space are saved only inside the app, but with the new update that's rolling out, users can to sync reminders to Google Calendar. The firm is also rolling out two other highly-requested features to improve the overall experience.
Nothing's Essential account posted on X that it's rolling out three new features to Essential Space – Google Calendar integration, Editable Memory and Shareable Flip-to-Record summaries. Starting with the first one, users can enable Calendar integration and create a new reminder in Essential Space to automatically sync it to Google Calendar.

This could be incredibly useful for those who dabble between multiple devices and use Google Calendar as their primary app for reminders and scheduling. Users can enable the feature by launching Essential Space, going to the Settings and tapping on Google Calendar. They can then choose the Google account they want to sync the reminders to. We tried creating one and it worked perfectly.

For those who've had issues with inaccurate speech to text detection in Essential Space, users can now edit AI-generated titles and summaries. Finally, users can now share flip-to-record summaries as an image, PDF or markdown directly via Android's share sheet. It's worth noting that, Flip-to-record is currently a Nothing Phone (3)-exclusive feature.
The update to Essential Space is now rolling out on all the supported Nothing phones via the Google Play Store. Nothing is also expected to roll out Essential Search via Nothing OS 3.5 to its older devices soon.
Essential Space is expected to get new features in Nothing OS 4.0, which could release by the end of September this year. We will be covering all the potential improvements coming to Nothing OS in the future, so stay tuned!
