Nothing's home-grown Gallery app is getting a new update which brings built-in photo editing features to edit right from the get-go.
Nothing Gallery's version 2.0.9.0623 is now rolling out to all Nothing smartphones, bringing photo editing features. It has been one of the most requested features since the app's initial release, and it's finally here, alas.

For starters, hitting the pen icon brings up the ability to adjust exposure, contract, vibrancy, saturation, highlights, shadows, warmth and more parameters.
Besides, users can now crop, rotate, flip the image and adjust the ratio. The Filter tab brings 10 new filers, and you can adjust the intensity of them. For videos, you can now trim clips and reduce the overall sound in it.

Before the update, tapping the pen icon would redirect to Google Photos, which defeated the purpose of Nothing Gallery. With these additions, users can effortlessly edit and store their photos without relying on any third-party app.
During its release, the Gallery app was one of the most requested apps. Users wanted a private and cleaner way to navigate photos and videos, and Nothing Gallery delivers on that, for the most part.
Nothing CEO Carl Pei says more features are in the works. With the Nothing Gallery already getting all the basic features with this update, it should be interesting to see what features arrive next. Perhaps Nothing could expand more on AI features like Magic eraser and Image expansion.
The update to the Nothing Gallery app is now rolling out gradually to users via the Google Play Store.
