Nothing has started rolling out a new update for the Phone (3). The latest update brings much-needed camera improvements, Glyph Matrix enhancement and an overall focus on general stability and system improvements.
The Nothing OS version 3.5-250911-2112 update to the Nothing Phone (3) is based on Android 15 and features the September 2025 security patch. It brings a lot of new camera improvements (six to be precise).

For starters, the manual exposure slider within the Camera UI is now much smoother and precise. Additionally, the colour accuracy of the camera's output have not been fixed to offer a much more balanced and true-to-life tones. Nothing claims that this new update has also upgraded the AI SuperRes Zoom algorithm for improved text sharpness for those really zoomed-in shots.
The previous noise grain issue in Action Mode has also now been fixed. Video output from Phone (3) has now better contrast with higher vibrancy and less blur. Lastly, camera clarity for third-party apps have also enhanced.

Apart from the camera improvements, the new version update has also optimised the Glyph Matrix display of Always-on Glyph Toys to better support multi-user mode.
Beyond new features, previously encountered issues like contact avatar duplication, haptics bugs in Generative mode for notifications, title misalignment, Bluetooth device recording UI, battery consumption, connectivity issues and more, now stand resolved and upgraded with the new update.
That said, the latest Nothing Phone (3) update is rolling out in phases and users can check availability via Settings > System > System updates. Apart from that, the recently-confirmed Nothing OS 4.0 based on Android 16 is also expected to drop soon on eligible Nothing OS 4.0 devices.
