OnePlus is preparing to expand its smartphone footprint in India by bringing back its ultra-budget N series smartphones, catering to buyers looking for super-affordable smartphones. The information surfaced last week and now, the brand has confirmed that a "OnePlus N6" is "coming soon" to India.
OnePlus N6 India Launch Teased
A dedicated OnePlus N series microsite is now live on Amazon India and it shows three smartphones arranged to form the letter N. While the page doesn't reveal a release timeline, it does say that the phone is "coming soon".

While the page doesn't reveal the name of the phone, the browser tab title of the microsite reads "OnePlus N6 launch", suggesting the phone will indeed be called the OnePlus N6. As for the expected launch date, industry insiders point to a late June or early July 2026 launch.
The teaser image also gives us a clear look at some of the aspects of the smartphone. The design will mostly be boxy around the edges, with the right side accommodating volume rockers and a power button. The left side is clean, and we also get a glimpse of the square camera module from an angle.
Furthermore, the teaser also reveals that the smartphone will arrive in mint-green and black colourways. That said, the key specifications of the phone are unknown, but insiders suggest the OnePlus N6 could be a rebranded OnePlus Turbo 6X that launched recently. However, the same is in turn a rebrand of the OnePlus Nord CE6 series, which was again a rebrand of the Turbo 6V.

With OnePlus taking the rebranding game a bit too seriously, there's still no concrete way to determine the OnePlus N6 specifications. However, since most tipsters suggest it will be priced under Rs 20,000, it is expected to be powered by a budget MediaTek chipset with lower base RAM, an LCD panel and a 50 MP primary camera with focus on battery endurance.
More information about the OnePlus N6 should be revealed as we inch closer to the end of June 2026, which is when we should hear more about the key details of the smartphone. Until then, stay tuned.
