The season of ultra-flagships has begun, and one of the flagships to kickstart the same and be on the frontline is Oppo's Find X9 Ultra. It is one of the most anticipated flagship camera smartphones, and Oppo has finally unveiled it in China with a quad-camera system and a massive battery.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra Specifications and Features

Starting from the front, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra features a 6.82-inch 2K 10-bit  LTPO AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is shielded by Oppo's NanoCrystal Glass.

The exclusive black dual-tone variant has an eco-leather back, while the rest use a plain, smooth glass finish. Build-wise, the phone weighs 235 grams and has a thickness of 8.7 mm. The whole package is rated IP68/69K for protection against dust and water. 

Under the hood is the most powerful flagship processor of all time, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Fuelling the internals is a massive 7,025mAh battery with Oppo's lightning-fast 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.

What differentiates the Find X9 Ultra from other flagships is its cameras. The smartphone boasts a quad-camera setup consisting of a 200 MP main f/1.8 snapper, a 200 MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom, a 50 MP periscope telephoto f/3.5 snapper with 10x optical zoom and a 50 MP ultrawide f/2.0 snapper. The front houses a 50 MP shooter.

The 200 MP periscope telephoto is the main highlight of the smartphone, as it attaches to the Hasselblad Photography kit that Oppo will sell separately as an accessory. The kit consists of a battery-powered handgrip, a shutter button and a dedicated teleconverter lens capable of reaching up to 13x optical zoom.

Connectivity-wise, the smartphone will boast Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and USB-3.2 Type-C. For security, there's an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The Satellite Edition of the phone brings satellite connectivity as well.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra Price and Availability

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is available from 12 GB + 256 GB and goes all the way to 16 GB + 1 TB for the top-spec limited edition Master variant with satellite connectivity. The price for the base variant starts at 7,499 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 1,02,000), while the top storage variant could go for 9,299 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 1,27,000). 

The smartphone is available in three colourways – Polar Glaciers, Rongsha Canyon and Tundra, with the latter being an exclusive variant that comes with a prominent dual-tone leather-like finish with "Hasselblad" text on the back. Oppo will also sell the Master Edition with Satellite Connectivity for 9,499 Chinese Yuan (approximately 1,30,000).
