Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Buds 3 FE in select global markets today, on August 18, 2025. The latest entry in the brand's Fan Edition lineup is aimed delivering a premium audio experience and AI-backed features at a consumer-friendly price.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE Specifications and Features

The latest Galaxy Buds 3 FE see a departure from the classic bean shape in favour of a sleek, matte blade-style stem design with semi-transparent accents. The earbuds also offer functional control via pinch and swipe gestures.

Under the hood, Samsung has equipped the earbuds with a larger 1-way dynamic driver for richer, bass-heavy sound and crisp treble. There's also Active Noise Cancellation for an immersive listening experience.

Additionally, the buds bring Crystal Clear Call technology to users, which is powered by a pre-trained machine learning model and refined microphone placement for clear voice pickup even in noisy environments.

The earbuds are also quite practical, flaunting an IP54 rating for protection, up from an IPX2 rating on the original FEs. There are silicone ear-tips as well to improve passive noise cancellation while maintaining comfort. 

Samsung has also integrated Galaxy AI, letting users go hands-free with Google Gemini as well as the Galaxy AI Interpreter app. By simply saying "Hey Google" or long-pressing the stem, users can translate conversations in real time as well as receive AI voice assistance.

Bonus features include Auto Switch for audio transitions across Galaxy devices, Find My Earbuds and app-free control from any screen. 

Meanwhile, fueling it all is a 53mAh battery unit within each earbuds. On the other hand, the case packs a 515mAh battery, promising to deliver up to 30 hours of playback with ANC off. Samsung also promises a total talktime of 18 hours with the case. 

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE Pricing and Availability

The Galaxy Buds 3 FE are all priced at $149.99 (approximately Rs 13,000), which is $50 more than the Galaxy Buds FE's launch price.

In addition, Samsung is offering $30 off if users trade in any wired or wireless headset. The buds come in the Black and Grey colour options.

As for availability, the earbuds will be available for purchase in the U.S. on September 4, 2025, via Samsung.com, Samsung Experience Stores and select retailers. While the India launch details remain under wraps at the moment, expect the brand to spill the beans soon.
