The Galaxy M47 5G India launch was teased last week and now, Samsung has revealed exactly when the phone will go official. Additionally, the brand has revealed some key Samsung Galaxy M47 5G specifications which, if the phone is priced right, can be a major relief for consumers in the current status of the smartphone market.
Samsung Galaxy M47 5G India Launch Set for June 29
As per the dedicated Amazon microsite, the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will be launching in India on June 29, 2026. Thanks to this microsite, we know that the phone will be sold exclusively via Amazon. We also get to know a few of the upcoming phone's key specs.

For starters, the smartphone is confirmed to feature a 6.7-inch sAMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. One of the teaser images also shows off the phone with a punch-hole display and a sizable bottom chin.
The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon processor, although the exact chipset is currently under wraps. But a Galaxy M47 5G Geekbench listing spotted a while back suggests that the phone could use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.
Apart from that, the Amazon microsite also confirms that the phone will feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Also, as is the norm for most M-series Samsung phones, the Galaxy M47 5G will be backed by 6 years of software updates and security patches.

Also, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy M47 5G will feature a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 5 MP ultra-wide and a 2 MP macro lens. The phone will also sport a 12 MP selfie camera and the brand says users will be able to record 4K videos through both the rear and front cameras.

As for the rest of the details, the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G is confirmed to bring 45W fast USB-C charging and bypass charging support. Samsung is also throwing essential privacy features into the mix, such as Knox security and Private Album, along with several AI tools such as Object Eraser and AI Voice Transcription.
If the Galaxy M47 5G price in India is set under Rs 30,000, that would be an impressive feat given the ongoing RAM crisis. We will know for sure when the phone drops next week, so stay tuned.
