Samsung is expected to unveil its next generation of foldable devices at an Unpacked event next month. Until now, we've heard about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 but the South Korean company is now expected to launch a third foldable, and it will go by the name – Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
According to 91mobiles, Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip FE has been spotted on Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) listing. The device carried the official name along with the model number SM-F761B. This comes just a few days after the foldable appeared on US' FCC platform and India's BIS certification website with the same model number.

The FE (or Fan Edition) moniker means the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be a more affordable version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7. When it launches, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be the first FE device in the Galaxy Z series.
As per previous leaks and a Geekbench spotting, the budget foldable could be powered by Samsung's own Exynos 2400, the same as last year's Galaxy S24 series. If this is true, it's going to be the first Samsung foldable to not be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. Besides that, the phone is expected to come with 8 GB of RAM, 25W fast charging, and run on Android 16-based One UI 8.
With the certifications passed, the launch date shouldn't be that far out. Rumours suggest the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could be released along with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 phones. Samsung typically hosts its second "Unpacked" event in July, and it's expected to take place in New York. So, we could see the official launch of the new budget foldable from Samsung in a month's time.
