Vivo just released the T5x series back in March, and now the company has started teasing the launch of the Vivo T5 Pro 5G in India. The first look highlights its massive 9,020mAh battery capacity, dubbing it "the ultimate powerhouse". The Flipkart microsite for the Vivo T5 Pro has also gone live, suggesting up to 120 FPS of gaming performance.
Vivo T5 Pro 5G India Launch "Coming Soon"
The official X account of Vivo India (@Vivo_India) shared a small clip teasing the upcoming release of the Vivo T5 Pro 5G. It shows that the phone will be packing a 9,020mAh battery capacity. The microsite for the phone has also gone live on Flipkart, announcing that it will be the "Slimmest 9020 mAh Smartphone". The page also teases that the T5 Pro will support up to 120FPS gaming.

Based on the teasers, it is clear that the company is shifting focus towards battery life and gaming performance, instead of providing great cameras at a budget like the current Vivo T4 Pro. Credible tipster Noah Cat (@Cartidise) also shared a leaked list of specifications for the upcoming phone.
According to Noah Cat's X post, the Vivo T5 Pro will come with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which is a downgrade from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 on the T4 Pro. It will also get rid of the periscope camera, instead opting for a 50MP Sony IMX882 1/1.95-inch main camera only.
As for other specs, it will have a 6.8-inch display, a 2MP auxiliary lens, 90W charging, an IP68/69 rating and come with OriginOS 6 onboard. The storage also seems to be updated to UFS 3.1 from UFS 2.2 on the older model. That said, we still do not have any details on the Vivo T5 Pro release date, but we speculate that it will be sometime in April.
Going by the leaks and these first teasers, the Vivo T5 Pro is not shaping up to be the best value-for-money phone that the T4 was. But we will learn more as subsequent teasers are rolled out.
