The Xiaomi 18 Fold launch date is confirmed for September 7, 2027, and ahead of it, the brand has already revealed the key specifications of its upcoming foldable.
Xiaomi 18 Fold Key Specs Revealed
The official Xiaomi Weibo account shared several posts, detailing the specs of the Xiaomi 18 Fold. The book-style foldable will feature a 5.38-inch cover display and a 7.58-inch main display, with a Series 7 aluminium alloy mid-frame and Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 3 protecting the screen.

It will also come with a double layer of UTG ultra-thin glass for impact resistance, with Xiaomi claiming that the device can survive a 1.2 metres of drop.
It will be powered by Xiaomi's in-house Xring O3 chipset, which Xiaomi is calling its first AI flagship SoC to cross 5 million in AnTuTu. This surpasses the leaked AnTuTu score of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor.

The company showcased that the device can run an open-world game at a stable 60 FPS. The chip is paired with next-generation LPDDR6 memory from CXMT, and it will be one of the first devices to come with HyperOS 4 out of the box.
On battery, Xiaomi has now confirmed that the 18 Fold will arrive with a 6,000mAh capacity that was only rumoured previously. It's built using an innovative lamination process and high silicon content aimed at keeping the folding body thin. The Xiaomi 18 Fold supports 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.
As for the cameras, the Xiaomi 18 Fold will feature a triple Leica camera system. It will have a 200 MP main camera with a large 1/1.56-inch sensor, coupled with a 50 MP periscope camera with 3.5x optical zoom and a 50 MP ultrawide lens.

The images will have Leica tuning similar to other Xiaomi flagship phones like the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Other images show that the 4:3 cover screen can double as a viewfinder to capture high-quality selfies with the main camera.
Xiaomi is describing the phone as a "professional creation platform" built to handle PC-level editing software from capture through to final output. Here's a gallery of camera samples showcasing the 18 Fold's imaging capabilities.
