Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro Global Variants Colour and Configuration Options Leak Online

Back in September 2025, the Xiaomi Pad 8 series went official in China with the Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro. Now, it looks like the brand is gearing up to bring the Android tablet to global markets, as the colour options and RAM and storage models have made an appearance online.

Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro to come in three colours and two configurations each

Outed by tipster Sundhansu Ambhore on X, the Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro will launch globally in Blue, Grey and Green colourways. Both tablets will also reportedly bring two RAM and storage configurations to the table. The standard Xiaomi Pad 8 will be offered in 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB models.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is said to start with 8 GB + 256 GB of RAM and storage and will also get a top-end 12 GB + 512 GB option. As for the rest of the details, the leaker claims that the global models will bear the same key specs as those of the Xiaomi Pad 8 series in China.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It will be paired with an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness. It also features a 9,200mAh battery inside with 67W fast USB-C charging.

As for the Pad 8, it ships with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and offers the same display as that of the Pad 8 Pro. It also ships with the same battery capacity, but with reduced charging speed at 45W. Both tablets also ship with HyperOS 3 update out of the box.

That said, at the time of writing, Xiaomi has not officially announced the global launch date of the Xiaomi Pad 8 series. It is expected to go official alongside the Xiaomi 17 series and could be unveiled at the upcoming MWC event in March 2026.
