ColorOS 17 Eligible Devices
On July 16, 2026, OnePlus confirmed that it will be phasing out OxygenOS, and all supported OnePlus phones will receive ColorOS 17 as the major update. At the same time, Realme announced that it is retiring Realme UI to ColorOS going forward.

Information about what new features are coming to ColorOS 17 is still scarce. But based on the first look from Oppo, here are some key features coming in the next update.
- System-wide frosted-glass design: ColorOS 17 will get Liquid Glass elements with the Media Player, Control Centre, Notes, Files Manager, and the lock screen all picking up a translucent, frosted-glass treatment with contour glow.
- Floating navigation bars: The fixed navigation bars from ColorOS 16 are being replaced with transparent, floating bars across most system apps.

ColorOS 17 Release Date
Oppo is expected to officially reveal ColorOS 17 in September 2026, alongside the Find X10 series in China. It is rumoured to be the first phone to ship with ColorOS 17 out of the box.
The company is currently testing ColorOS 17 closed beta in two batches: August 11 for the Oppo Find X9 Pro series and August 13 for the rest of the eligible closed beta devices, which include the OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R, Oppo Reno 15 Pro, Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini, and Realme GT 8 Pro in India and other global markets, with a longer list covering additional OnePlus and Oppo phones in China.
Registration for the current closed beta round has already closed, so if you missed it, the next opportunity will be an open beta, which hasn't been announced yet.
