As for what to expect from the Apple's September 9 event, the iPhone 17 series is inbound, including a brand-new model – iPhone 17 Air. It could be the slimmest iPhone ever made and could replace the Plus model. iPhone 17 series pre-orders start September 12, 2025, with discounts on partner banks, no-cost EMIs and exchange offers.

The iPhone 17 series could consist of four devices – the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max and 17 Air. They're expected to boast Apple's latest A19 chipset with larger batteries on the Pro and Pro Max. Besides the redesigned back, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max could feature upgraded 48 MP telephoto cameras with 8x optical zoom. 

Besides, the firm is also expected to launch new Apple Watches, including the Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3 and a new budget Apple Watch SE 3. All the new Apple Watches are expected to get the new Apple S11 chip, with the SE 3 potentially getting a new design, always-on display and new sensors alongside Sleep Apnea detection.

The upcoming AirPods Pro 3 could feature a smaller case, better sound, heart rate and temperature sensors baked into the buds and improvements to the hearing aids feature.

Lastly, Apple could announce the release date for the stable rollout of iOS 26, macOS 26, iPadOS 26 and watchOS 26. The latest versions feature a unified UI witha new Liquid Glass design, features and improvements to Apple Intelligence.
