Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its annual keynote in the second week of September. The exact date is still being debated though. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman expects the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max to launch on September 8, but others are predicting September 9. Since Labor Day is on September 7, many believe Apple is unlikely to hold a keynote on the very next day.
Here is the tentative iPhone 18 Pro launch date:
- Keynote: September 8 or 9, 2026
- Pre-orders begin: September 11, 2026
- iOS 27 public rollout: Around September 14, 2026
- iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max sale date: September 18, 2026
Note that iOS 27 will arrive on existing iPhones a few days before the new iPhones hit the stores, just like every year. And if the keynote is delayed to September 14, the sale date would move to September 25 instead.
