The Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max launch in China kick off the week on August 11 at 7:00 PM CST (or 4:30 PM IST). Redmi has already confirmed the K100 Pro Max's design in a Cabernet Red finish, showing off a colour-matched metal frame and a new floating light ring around the camera module that syncs with music, calls, and notifications.

The Redmi K100 Pro Max is confirmed to sport a flat 6.9-inch display with ultra-narrow bezels, a triple rear camera setup including a periscope telephoto lens, and a Bose-tuned rear speaker carried over from last year's K90 Pro Max.

Notably, the standard Redmi K100 isn't launching alongside its Pro siblings this time and will arrive separately at a later date. Globally, the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max are expected to be rebranded as the Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra, respectively.

2. Google Pixel 11 Series

Google's Made by Google event is officially confirmed for August 12 at 6:00 PM ET (or 3:30 AM IST) in New York. The Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, Pixel 11 Pro Fold and other devices are expected to take the stage at the event.

Leaked specs point to the standard Pixel 11 retaining a 6.3-inch 120 Hz LTPS OLED display with 3,000 nits peak brightness, up to 12 GB of RAM, a 4,840mAh battery, and a new 50MP main camera.

The Pixel 11 Pro is tipped to step up to a 6.3-inch 1.5K 120 Hz LTPO OLED panel at 3,600 nits, up to 16 GB of RAM, a 4,707mAh battery, and improved main and telephoto cameras. The Pixel 11 Pro XL is expected to carry over most of the Pro's upgrades but with a larger 6.8-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display and a bigger 5,000mAh battery.

Rounding out the lineup, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is rumoured to pack a 3,500-nit 8-inch LTPO OLED inner display alongside a 3,600-nit 6.4-inch LTPS OLED cover screen, up to 16 GB RAM and a 4,658mAh battery.

Most importantly, the Pro Pixels will arrive with what the brand is calling HiLight feature, which is a colourful notification light at the rear camera module.

A separate report suggests Google could retire the base 128 GB storage tier entirely, making 256 GB the new starting point across the lineup, alongside a price hike attributed to the ongoing RAM crisis.

European pricing is expected to start at 999 euros (approximately Rs 1,08,500) for the Pixel 11, going up to 1,999 euros (approximately Rs 2,17,000) for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

The Realme 16x 5G India launch is confirmed for August 12 at 12:00 PM IST, via Flipkart. The phone is confirmed to feature a 144 Hz IPS LCD display, a Dimensity 6300 chipset and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

From the looks of it, Realme could be positioning the Realme 16x 5G as a budget-friendly, battery-focused pick under Rs 25,000.

4. Honor Robot Phone

Also launching on August 12, but in China, is the genuinely unusual Honor Robot Phone. Honor has confirmed a 200 MP main camera mounted on a motorised three-axis gimbal, alongside a 50 MP ultrawide and a 200 MP periscope telephoto lens.

Sliding open the camera cover deploys a titanium-alloy robotic arm that can rotate and tilt through 360 degrees to track subjects, backed by a new in-house Yuguang H1 imaging chip.

Honor has also partnered with cinema equipment maker ARRI, adding Log-C video encoding and manual video controls aimed squarely at content creators.

5. Moto g Max

Rounding off the week is the Moto g Max, launching in India on August 14 via Motorola's website, Flipkart, and offline retail.

The phone features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz display protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera and MIL-STD-810H durability.

Its standout spec is a 7,000mAh battery, which Motorola claims can last up to three days on a single charge. Motorola could price the phone around Rs 25,000 in the country.

With five launches spread across two countries this week, expect more concrete pricing and availability details to roll in as each date approaches.

Moreover, not to mention that the iQOO Z11 is also coming to India on August 20, while the Boltt smartphones are launching on August 25. So, this is indeed a busy month and we have a bunch of exciting launches to look forward to. Stay tuned for all the updates.
