Just weeks ahead of the Google Pixel 10 series launch, new leaks have now revealed two major AI-powered camera features for the lineup. These are the Camera Coach and conversational photo editing features, powered by Google's own Gemini AI model.
The information comes from folks over at Android Headlines, who also outline the way these features will most likely work. Turns out, Camera Coach is designed to assist users in real time while taking photos. The feature is said to integrate directly within the camera app and provide instant suggestions on how to improve composition, lighting and angles.
Additionally, by analysing the scene as it's being framed, Camera Coach offers helpful prompts that aim to let users take a better 'final' shot. The feature is reportedly even responsive enough to provide feedback mid-frame, similar to how Gemini Live handles real-time inference in voice interactions.

Talking about the conversational photo editing feature next, this will let users make edits to a picture after capturing it, using natural language commands. Whether by voice or text, users can ask Gemini to perform edits like removing objects, replacing backgrounds or simply adjusting colours and brightness.
The editing process is seemingly designed to be more intuitive, removing the need for complex tools and sliders that may confuse amateur editors. This is similar to how the Realme 15 series' AI Genie feature works.
Both the AI-powered features are expected to be exclusive to the Pixel 10 series at launch. However, going by Google's track record, we can expect to see them roll out to older Pixels via future Feature Drops.
The Pixel 10 series is all set to officially land on August 20, 2025, during the Made by Google annual event. Pre-orders are expected to start on the same day as well, but reports suggest that the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold could be delayed.
That's all for now, but we do expect Google to officially tease the features and more in the coming days, so stay tuned.
