It is no surprise that Google is prepping the Pixel 10a for an imminent launch. The smartphone has managed to leak quite a few times in the recent months with interesting details. Now, it looks like the smartphone will materialise to reality soon as the Verizon listing of the phone just went up.
Pixel 10a Verizon listing gives Pixel 9a vibes
Trusted leaker Evan Blass made an X post revealing the Verizon listing of the upcoming Google Pixel 10a. It carries the STA5 carrier SKU and is described as the "only phone engineered by Google, bringing Google AI to you at great value."
Moreover, the listing has also mentioned some of the key details of the smartphone. As per that, the Pixel 10a is going to rock a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz pOLED display and will pack a respectable 5,100mAh battery capacity.
The smartphone will also sport a 48 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide camera at the back, with a 13 MP selfie lens at the front. It will come in an 8 GB + 128 GB, RAM and storage variant and of course 5G connectivity. Based on these details, it is impossible to ignore the fact that the Pixel 9a is in fact the Pixel 10a.
Google is seemingly prepping the same phone with just a new name. Also, based on the previously hinted Pixel 10a launch timeline, we could get the new "Pixel a" phone as soon as this month itself, that is, December 2025. Given that the Pixel 9a launched back in March 2025, it seems like we will see the same smartphone launch again in just a span of nine months.
Moreover, back in September 2025 when the Pixel 10a chipset leak hinted at the repurpose of the Tensor G4 processor, we were sceptical. However, now that the Verizon listing is out, this seems more than likely.
On top of all this, if we talk about the design of the phone, the Pixel 10a CAD renders outed the Pixel 9a in Indigo Blue colourway. So, aside from a new paint job, it looks like the Pixel 10a does not have much going on in terms of specs and design bump.
That said, since none of the details and speculations have been backed officially yet, take them with a pinch of salt. Given that the actual launch of the Pixel 10a is not far away, expect to hear more on the smartphone soon.
