The Google Pixel 11 is still a long way from an official release, but early leaks are already painting a detailed picture of the chipset that will power it. Recent information suggests the Tensor G6 chipset could boast more improvements on the CPU side than on the GPU side.
Tensor G6 Could Bring a Major Leap in CPU Performance
A recent leak from Mystic Leaks via their Telegram channel highlights that the upcoming Tensor G6 in the Pixel 11 series could boast a mix of promising CPU upgrades hampered by a potentially disappointing GPU choice.

The exciting part of the leak is that it reveals that the Tensor G6 will use ARM's latest and most capable core architecture. For those unaware, it's ARMv9.3-A, consisting of cores like the ARM C1-Ultra and ARM C1-Pro. In Tensor G6's case, the core architecture could look like this:
- 1 x ARM C1-Ultra Prime core @ 4.11 GHz
- 4 x ARM C1-Pro Performance cores @ 3.38 GHz
- 2 x ARM C1-Pro Performance cores @ 2.65 GHz
This seems to be a major upgrade over the Tensor G5 and its 1+5+2 setup, as the ARM C1 cores are much more powerful and efficient. For those unaware, they are used in the Dimensity 9500 chipset, and offer substantially more horsepower than the A-series cores they are replacing.
Therefore, the overall CPU performance boost should make Pixel users happy, but the same cannot be said about the GPU. According to the leak, the Tensor G6 won't offer a huge upgrade to the graphical capabilities. The PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 could be slightly overclocked, but the core GPU itself is quite dated.
Alongside the chipset specs, the bottom of the screenshot shared by Mystic Leaks also confirms the internal codenames Google is using for the Pixel 11 series. Keeping up with the tradition of using animal names, the standard Pixel 11 is codenamed "Cubs", the Pixel 11 Pro is "Grizzly", and the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL is known as "Kodiak".
Pixel 11 renders have leaked on countless occasions already and we should get a brief glimpse of the same in the upcoming Google I/O 2026 scheduled for May 2026. Following Google's recently altered Pixel release cadence, the smartphones are expected to arrive sometime in August 2026.
