Fresh off the launch of iQOO 15 Ultra, the brand has officially published the list of spare parts and their prices for the smartphone. While users will have no issue keeping the device running, damaging the smartphone both internally and externally could cost nearly as much as buying a new sub-flagship smartphone.

iQOO 15 Ultra's Motherboard Is Its Most Expensive Component

And it doesn't come as a surprise. Reported first by IThome, replacing the logic board for the top-tier 24 GB RAM and 1 TB iQOO 15 Ultra variant costs a staggering 3,850 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 50,000). Contributing to these costs is likely the ongoing memory shortage, and the fact that Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is the most powerful and expensive Snapdragon processor ever produced.

As for the 2K+ Samsung display, it will cost users 1,590 yuan (approximately Rs 20,000). The upside to this is that users can get the price of the part reduced to 1,190 yuan (approximately Rs 15,500) if they ask iQOO to recycle their older screen.

While iQOO has fit in a large 7,400mAh battery, it has kept the cost of replacing it relatively low at 199 yuan ( approximately Rs 2,500). Camera repairs are affordable too, with the main 50 MP sensor priced at 295 yuan (approximately Rs 3,800), and the periscope module costing 285 yuan (approximately Rs 3,700).

Unfortunately, these prices are not inclusive of the labour costs, which users will have to pay separately. For the iQOO 15 Ultra that goes out of warranty, there's a flat labour fee of 50 yuan (approximately Rs 700 ), with the brand noting that you only pay the labour fee once if multiple components are fixed in a single visit.

The iQOO 15 Ultra might be a gaming powerhouse, but the cost to fix it is bound to bring tears to the eyes. The stakes are clearly higher than your in-game rank, which is just a bunch of pixels. So the next time users face a defeat, we'd recommend absorbing that anger, or they'd end up burning a hole in their wallets.
