Motorola's next premium mid-range phone, the Edge 70 Pro, has surfaced in a fresh set of leaked renders, offering a detailed look at its design ahead of launch. The renders, shared by tech publication YTECHB, suggest that Motorola is going to bring some interesting Pantone-validated colourways and material-focused aesthetics.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro Design Leaked
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro renders reveal the phone in three key colour options, namely Pantone Titan (blue), Pantone Zinfandel (maroon) and a wood-textured variant. The blue model reportedly features a nylon-style fabric finish, while the maroon adopts a brushed matte texture for a more refined look.

Meanwhile, the wood variant, which looks like the Pantone Walnut colour of the Motorola Edge 60 Pro, could offer a similar polished in-hand feel.
Interestingly, another leak from X user @_intakhab_alam showcases the Motorola Edge 70 Pro in a satin-luxe finish green colour option and suggests an off-white "marble finish" for the phone. If true, this would certainly make the Edge 70 Pro a lot more colourful than the Edge 60 Pro.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro Specifications (Expected)
While nothing is known about the Edge 70 Pro, we can draw a couple of assumptions on the basis of the current market status and standard expectations. For starters, the phone could retain the 6.7-inch quad-curved 1.5K pOLED 120 Hz display of its predecessor. However, there's a chance Motorola bumps it up to 144 Hz to justify an understandable price hike due to the ongoing RAM crisis.
Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro could be powered by the same Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB UFS 4.1 storage. Optics-wise as well, the phone could retain the same 50 MP + 50 MP + 10 MP rear setup with a 50 MP front camera.
Where we can expect the most upgrade is the battery capacity, and the Edge 70 Pro could bump it up to 6,500mAh or 7,000mAh from 6,000mAh on the predecessor. However, it could retain the same 90W fast charging support.
The phone could also arrive with solid durability like the previous gen, retaining the IP68/IP69 ratings and MIL-STD-810H certification. For now, that's all we can say about the Motorola Edge 70 Pro specifications.
Apart from this, the entire Motorola Edge 70 lineup details leaked last week and we are yet to see the Edge 70 Pro+ and Edge 70 Pro Lite. However, given the pace at which leaks are surfacing, we can expect to get the design renders for those phones too anytime soon.
