Motorola is gearing up to launch its next generation of clamshell foldables, the Razr 70 series, and a fresh leak has now given us a closer look at the top-end model. New renders of the Razr 70 Ultra, expected to be called the Razr Ultra 2026 in some markets, have surfaced online and reveal its design in greater detail.
Motorola Razr 70 Ultra Boasts a Familiar Design
The latest renders, shared by OnLeaks via Android Headlines, suggest that Motorola is sticking with the textured finishes introduced last year. The Razr 70 Ultra is shown in two new colour options - Orient Blue Alcantara and Pantone Cocoa Wood. These are expected to join the previously leaked Pantone African Violet variant, which we got our first look at through earlier Razr 70 Ultra CAD renders.

One of the key elements missing from these renders is a front-facing camera. This could imply two things. Motorola either forgot to add a front punch hole camera, or the brand may surprise us with an under-display camera. Apart from that, the overall design of the smartphone is very similar to the previous generations.
Motorola Razr 70 Ultra Specifications (Expected)
Specifications-wise, the Razr 70 Ultra is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.1 storage. To power the internals, Motorola is reportedly squeezing in a 4,700mAh battery and a fast 68W charging.
Optics-wise, the smartphone will stick to a dual-rear camera setup, with the primary and secondary sensors being 50 MP snappers. The front could host a 50 MP camera, so no major changes in the camera department. The Razr 70 series is expected to arrive with Motorola's Hello UI based on Android 16 out of the box.
While Motorola has yet to reveal more details about the phone and its launch date, considering the Razr 60 arrived in April 2025, the Razr 70 could arrive this month itself. This is the most probable release window due to the 2026 FIFA World Cup fast approaching, where Motorola would want to market the phone well. More details should be revealed very soon, so stay tuned.
