OnePlus has officially begun teasing the design of its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 15, ahead of its expected October 2025 launch in China. The brand has confirmed a slew of design details for the smartphone, introducing a new yet similar square camera module, ultra-thin bezels and more.
OnePlus 15 design reveals a Sand Dune colour option
OnePlus took to its official Weibo handle to reveal that the 15 will adopt a new "Dune Aesthetic" with its Sand Dune colourway. One of the biggest highlights of the phone is its newly developed "nano-ceramic metal" midframe. According to the brand, this is 26.3% lighter than aluminium and also flaunts 134% higher wear resistance and 26.6 times greater heat dissipation.

Additionally, the OnePlus 15 has also gone through advanced processes like micro-arc oxidation, ion colouring and nanoscale sealing. These ensure that the scratch resistance, corrosion protection and long-term colour stability.
OnePlus also states that this material and process combination brings greater strength than regular titanium, stainless steel or aluminium alloys while still achieving a premium finish.
OnePlus 15 borrows the 13s's camera module
Another notable shift in design is the new square module on the OnePlus 15, which was introduced with the OnePlus 13s earlier this year. The square-shaped module is seen housing four sensors, with two sensors placed on a pill-shaped island inside the module, while the third sensor is placed outside with the LED flash.

We also see the new AI Plus Key on the 15, replacing the iconic alert slider. That makes the OnePlus 13 possibly the last top-tier flagship from the brand to flaunt one.
Apart from this, a while back, the brand confirmed the OnePlus 15 processor to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The OnePlus 15 is expected to debut in October 2025 in China, followed by a wider rollout in global markets, including in India.
