Google Pixel 10 series is seemingly coming on August 20, and it's expected to bring the first TSMC-manufactured Tensor SoC. While the phone will offer a few upgrades, one of the biggest upgrades seems to be in the audio department. And no, it's not bringing the headphone jack back, but a set of fantastic speakers.
Android Headlines reports that the Pixel 10 will have “the best audio quality in a Pixel ever.” Speakers on Pixels have generally been pretty good, but Pixel 10 will up the ante even further.
As for what the upgrades could be, there are no clarifications on that front. However, one can expect it to arrive with dual stereo speakers just like the Pixel 9, which might be better tuned. The report also notes that there is no Dolby Atmos support this time either.

Smartphone speakers are terrible at producing lower frequencies and can come off as shouty. We're hoping Pixel 10's speakers might finally add better lower frequencies to make the audio sound fuller and richer; don't quote us on that, though.
Besides speakers, the Pixel 10 series is turning out to be a great overall upgrade. While design-wise, the phones seem to look similar to the Pixel 9 lineup, leaks suggest some internal makeover. For starters, recent rumours point toward there being a better gimbal-like camera stabilisation on the Pixel 10 lineup.
As for other internal upgrades, the Pixel 10 is expected to sport three cameras, with the third being an 11 MP telephoto snapper. The primary camera is a 50 MP shooter while the secondary ultrawide is expected to be a 13 MP snapper, which is a downgrade from the 48 MP shooter on the Pixel 9.
Recently, leaks also suggested that Google is switching the Pixel 10 series colours this time around. Meanwhile, under the hood, it is expected to be powered by the Tensor G5 SoC.
The Pixel 10 series is expected to arrive with Android 16 out of the box with seven years of OS updates. And that's about everything we know so far about the series.
