Realme 16 Pro Series Specifications and Features

Being the more affordable option in the lineup, the Realme 16 Pro sees some downgrades. For starters, it packs a smaller 6.78-inch 144 Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,272 x 2,772 pixels. On the other hand, the Realme 16 Pro+ flaunts a bigger 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 2,800 pixels. However, the display on both phones can hit a peak brightness of up to 6,500 nits.

The Realme 16 Pro+ is also more powerful with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset powering it. On the other hand, the Realme 16 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7300-Max. However, both phones offer the same massive 7,000mAh batteries, paired with 80W fast wired charging support.

However, the Realme 16 Pro+ is thicker at 8.49mm as compared to the 16 Pro's 7.8mm form factor. The Pro+ is also slightly heavier at 203 grams as compared to the 16 Pro's 192 grams weight. This could be due to the hardware upgrades it comes with, especially in the camera department.

While both phones flaunt a 200 MP Samsung HP5 main camera with OIS, the Realme 16 Pro+ also offers a 50 MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera in the setup. Meanwhile, the Realme 16 Pro uses an 8 MP ultrawide instead. At the front, however, both phones sport 50 MP selfie shooters

Realme hasn't compromised the durability on any of the models either, with both phones packing solid IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K ratings. Connectivity options are equally adequate on the two phones as well, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, etc.
