The RedMagic 11 Pro series set the benchmark for liquid-cooled gaming smartphones and the RedMagic 11S Pro series has now launched in China as its successor. Powered by Qualcomm's latest and greatest chipset, alongside packing in some impressive internals, the new RedMagic 11S Pro and 11S Pro+ aim to push the boundaries of gaming further.

RedMagic 11S Pro and 11S Pro+ Specifications

Starting with the design, the RedMagic 11S Pro and 11S Pro+ are quite similar in design to their older siblings, the RedMagic 11 Pro and 11 Pro+. The RedMagic 11S Pro+ carries the same deuterium-bladed transparent design language and camera layout.

Besides, the placement of things like the RedMagic and Snapdragon logos remains the same on both smartphones. However, there are a few minor differences at the back of the RedMagic 11S Pro+.

Starting from the circular ring, which shows the water circulating at the back, appears a tad bit slimmer and a little less aggressive. The outer cylindrical elements have been removed, and there's now a smaller inner circle with a small blue rectangle that adds good contrast, making the design feel a lot less empty.

The RedMagic 11S Pro and 11S Pro+ are powered by an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor (4.74 GHz vs 4.6 GHz). Complementing the performance is also an active cooling fan. It's coupled with UFS 4.1 Pro storage and LPDDR5X RAM.

Both phones feature a 6.85-inch 1.5K 144 Hz AMOLED panel with 2,800 nits of peak brightness. The cameras remain the same as the predecessors, with a 50 MP main f/1.9 snapper, a 50 MP ultrawide f/2.0 snapper and an Auxillary lens. The front camera is a 16 MP under-display snapper for selfies.

Fueling the internals, the RedMagic 11S Pro gets a larger 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and wireless charging, while the 11S Pro+ gets a smaller 7,500mAh cell with faster 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.

Connectivity-wise, the phone comes with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. The phone also retains its in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

RedMagic 11S Pro Price in China and Availability

RedMagic 11S Pro has been launched in two colours – Silverwing War God and Night Knight, whereas the RedMagic 11S Pro+ comes in two colours – Deuterium Edge Silver and Dark.

While the RedMagic 11S Pro comes in only one 12 GB + 256 GB variant, the 11s Pro+ comes in additional 16 GB + 512 GB and 16 GB + 1 TB storage options. The base RedMagic 11S Pro starts from 5,499 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 78,000), while the 11S Pro+ costs 6,199 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 88,000). The phones are now available to purchase on the official RedMagic storefront.
