The Redmi 15A 5G, Redmi Pad 2 and Xiaomi Pad 8 have all become costlier in India, with the latter now carrying a price tag up to Rs 8,000 higher than its launch price.

The news was first shared by leaker @saaaanjjjuuu on X and we independently verified price hikes for the Xiaomi and Redmi tablets and phone.

Starting with the Redmi 15A 5G, the revised pricing now puts the smartphone at Rs 16,499 for the 4 GB + 64 GB variant, reflecting a Rs 500 price hike over its previous selling price of Rs 15,999. For context, the Redmi 15A launched in India for Rs 12,999.

As for the Redmi Pad 2, the tablet now costs Rs 19,999, instead of Rs 18,999 for the Wi-Fi-only 4 GB + 128 GB configuration. All the other four models of the tablet have also been hiked by Rs 1,000.

Lastly, the top-of-the-line Xiaomi Pad 8, the 12 GB + 256 GB model, now costs Rs 46,999 instead of Rs 43,999, reflecting a Rs 3,000 price hike. Here is the complete breakdown of the price hikes for all three products in India:
