Samsung Foundry's next big chipset, the Exynos 2600, has finally entered mass production. The processor is expected to power the Galaxy S26 lineup of devices, but we didn't know which one. However, the latest report tells us exactly which device it could power.
Galaxy S26 Pro could use the Exynos 2600 chipset
According to the report from South Korean outlet The Bell, the Exynos 2600 could power Galaxy S26 Pro exclusively in Europe and Korea. Models sold in the US and China will likely use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 instead.

For those unaware, Samsung is expected to rename the Galaxy S26 series. With the Plus variant now gone, the standard Galaxy S26 will be called the Galaxy S26 Pro. Both the Galaxy S26 Edge and Galaxy S26 Ultra will likely stick to 8 Elite Gen 5 as well.
The Exynos 2600 is manufactured on Samsung's 2nm GAA process and is expected to deliver 12% better performance and 25% better efficiency. After struggling with Exynos 2500's yield and amidst regional issues in its Texas plant, Samsung has now stated that its 2nm yield has bumped to 50%.
An Exynos 2600 Geekbench listing suggests performance that's in line with the latest Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets. The SoC managed 3,309 points in single-core and 11,256 points in multi-core with a 10-core setup consisting of 1x prime core at 3.8 GHz, 3x performance cores at 3.26 GHz and 6x efficiency cores at 2.76 GHz.
The Galaxy S26 series is expected to be unveiled in January 2026 and more information about it is expected to be released as we approach the launch. Stay tuned as we will closely follow and report any new developments in the series.
