Samsung recently released the Galaxy S26 series featuring the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. While the limelight for the most part is stolen by the Ultra model, the standard Galaxy "S" series phone is still the entry-point flagship of choice for many. That is why, it is interesting to see the standard model make an appearance on the GSMA website.
Galaxy S27 GSMA Website Listing Spotted
A new report from SmartPrix has revealed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 has now made an appearance on the GSMA database with the SM-S952U model number. Judging by that, it looks like this is a carrier-locked model for the USA, since the "U" suffix is generally used by Samsung to denote US models.

The above image clearly mentions the "Galaxy S27" moniker name and shows June 8, 2026 as the listing date. This is expected since OEMs apply for GSMA registrations months before launch and it is crucial for IMEI allocation and device certification.
Hence, even though the Galaxy S27 series is not expected anytime before February 2027, the addition to the database listing hints at the fact that everything is on track internally. As for the phone's specs, the listing has not revealed any yet.

However, based on the rumour mill, it seems like the current RAM crisis is pushing for downgrades in the standard model. The Galaxy S27 display leak is one of the most concerning since it is expected to ditch the 2X sAMOLED panel for a cheaper and inferior BOE-made AMOLED display. It is further said to bring the same M13 AMOLED display material as the Galaxy S26, indicating zero generational upgrades.
However, a key addition next year could be MagSafe charging as the Galaxy S27 camera redesign is heavily reported in the past few months. It could make do with the vertical camera module and opt for either a Pixel-like or iPhone-like camera plateau placement to add magnetic charging support to the smartphone.
As for the rest, the phone is expected to bring a triple rear camera setup, complete with a main, wltra-wide and telephoto sensor. It is also said to run Android 17 based OneUI 9 out of the box and could ship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 or Exynos 2700.
That said, we will know for sure once the phone inches closer to launch and since it is months away, there is still possibility of new leaks emerging. So, stay tuned.
