Vivo's X300 series is just around the corner, and the brand continues to release new details about the smartphones daily. The lineup is shaping up to be an interesting one, and with the latest camera detail out, the X300 and the X300 Pro are revealed to be in a league of their own.
World's first Sony LYT-828 main camera will be on the Vivo X300 lineup
The official Weibo account of Vivo announced that the X300 and X300 Pro will feature the first-ever Sony LYT-828 sensor for their main cameras. It will be paired with the brand's proprietary Hybrid-Frame HDR technology to offer over 100 dB HDR.

Additionally, the new sensor is confirmed to offer gimbal-level anti-shake stabilisation for both phones. While further details regarding this are scarce for the Vivo X300, we do know that the Vivo X300 Pro will also include a 120 FPS dual-track EIS image stabilisation to take handheld recording on the smartphone to the next level.
Moreover, since the Vivo X300 cameras were officially confirmed earlier, we know that the base smartphone will use a custom 200 MP Samsung HPB "Thanos" camera paired with the LYT-828 sensor. In the case of the Pro model, expect to see a 50 MP Sony LYT-828 primary rear camera unit.

As for the other camera details, just like the X300, the X300 Pro periscope camera is said to use the same 200 MP Samsung HPB "Thanos" unit along with 4K @ 120 FPS Dolby Vision video recording capability.
Both phones will support the Zeiss Teleconverter kit to attach a 2.35x telephoto lens using a specially designed camera mount. A major role in this will be played by the X300's sculpted glass design camera deco.

Apart from this, both phones have been revealed to bring 6,000+mAh battery (6,040mAh inside the X300 and 6,510mAh inside the X300 Pro) capacities. Expect the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset to power the devices and bring a QHD+ 120 Hz LTPO BOE AMOLED display with them.
That said, since the Vivo X300 series launch date has been officially set for October 13, 2025, we will just have to wait for a few more days before the lineup goes official in China. We expect the devices to arrive in India by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
