An important thing to note here is that these emojis officially support cross-platform integration. This means that not only can they be shared between iPhones, but users will also be able to chat with Android and PC users using the same emojis. They will also reflect with the latest release of MacOS and iPadOS.

That said, with the new iOS 26.4 emojis live, the consortium has already started working on emojis for iOS 26.7. They have been listed on the Unicode 18.0 database and include leftward and rightward thumb gestures, a meteor, a smiley face with squinting eyes, an eraser and a lot more.
