Honor's next-generation foldable phone, the Magic V6, has surfaced in a leak that offers early details of what could be one of 2026's most ambitious foldables. The upcoming foldable is said to not only use Qualcomm's latest and greatest chipset but also the biggest battery yet on a foldable.
Honor Magic V6 Specifications Tipped
According to reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Honor Magic V6 is being tested with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The most striking detail, however, is the battery. Honor is reportedly experimenting with the 6,900mAh and a class-leading 7,200mAh battery capacities for the foldable.

If true, the Magic V6 would feature the biggest battery ever seen in a mainstream foldable, surpassing both the Honor Magic V5 and rival offerings from brands like Samsung, Google and Nubia.
Despite the jump in battery size, Honor is expected to retain its focus on slim foldable design, an area where the Magic V series has consistently stood out. The leak also mentions wireless charging support, although charging speeds remain unknown.
On the camera front, an engineering prototype of the Honor Magic V6 is said to include a 200 MP primary rear camera sensor paired with a 3x periscope telephoto lens, suggesting Honor is doubling down on flagship-grade photography for its foldable lineup. Additional details hint at a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with dust and water resistance.
While Honor has not confirmed a launch timeline, the Magic V6 is expected to debut around mid-2026, following the release cycle of the Magic V5. If these early specifications hold true, the Magic V6 could set a new benchmark for battery life in foldable smartphones.
