Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 17 series later this year and we've already seen plenty of leaks suggesting a design refresh across the lineup. We already know that the Pro models could make room for a larger camera bar at the back and a new report shares that this change could prompt the reposition of the Apple logo on the new phones.
According to Apple leaker Majin Bu, Apple may rearrange the position of the Apple logo on the iPhone 17 Pro lineup and could move it further downwards. The change owes to the new camera bar, which is set to occupy the full width at the top of the iPhone 17 Pro models. The new position for the iconic partially-eaten Apple logo could thus be at the centre of the remaining half of the rear panel.

If this turns out to be true, it'll be the first time since 2019 that Apple is repositioning its logo on the back of an iPhone. For context, all iPhones before the iPhone 11 featured the logo around the top half of the back, along with an "iPhone" label at the bottom.
With the iPhone 11, the company shifted it to the centre of the device to make it aesthetically symmetric and also removed the "iPhone" branding from the bottom. A year later, it introduced MagSafe support on the iPhone 12 with a ring under the back glass with the Apple logo at the centre.
The new placement of the Apple logo could be confusing for a lot of users and case manufacturers alike. Since it may no longer be at the centre of the iPhone, users may find it hard to align the device with their MagSafe accessories.

Majin Bu adds that case companies have started considering the logo placement for future accessories. The leaker has shared an image of a transparent case with a circular MagSafe ring that has an opening to reveal the Apple logo. This means, Apple has no plans to rearrange the MagSafe module inside the upcoming iPhone Pro lineup and so, it could remain at its original place.
