Ahead of its launch later this month, iQOO is ramping up the hype for its iQOO 15R by dropping a fresh set of specifications each day. The phone is confirmed to launch on February 24, 2025, and while most key specs have been confirmed, the brand has freshly revealed the display, camera and connectivity features.

iQOO 15R display and camera specifications are officially out

iQOO has updated the phone's landing page on Amazon with new information. It suggests that the iQOO 15R display will be capped at 5,000 nits of brightness. The page also reveals the main camera, which will be a 50 MP LYT-700V unit alongside an 8 MP ultrawide snapper, confirming the iQOO 15R camera downgrade.

Besides, the page also confirms HDR10+ support. The screen size is 6.59 inches and boasts features like adaptive colour temperature adjustments and motion-based prompts to reduce strain during long sessions. iQOO has already confirmed other iQOO 15R display specifications, such as a 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.

Lastly, the page has also been updated with the phone's connectivity features, which include Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7, NFC and an IR blaster.

As for the rest of the specifications, the iQOO 15R will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset alongside iQOO's Q2 Supercomputing chip. The smartphone will arrive in two colours – Dark Knight and Triumph Silver, with a checkered design. 

Helping keep things cool will be a 6,500mm2 IceCore VC Cooling system, which iQOO claims can drop up to 15 degrees in 10 minutes. Powering the smartphone will be a 7,600mAh cell with iQOO's 100W flash charging.

Software-wise, the iQOO 15R is promised four Android updates and runs OriginOS 6 features out of the box based on Android 16. It will also receive 6 years of security patches in total. The smartphone boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

To reiterate, the iQOO 15R launches on February 24, 2026, and is expected to be one of the best phones under Rs 50,000. With two more weeks to go, more information should be revealed as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
