However, iQOO recently added new details to the page, revealing further specifications, and more importantly, the overall support window for the smartphone.

iQOO 15R will feature prolonged software support

A recent update to the iQOO 15R product page adds new information related to the smartphone's software. It has now been revealed that the iQOO 15R will run OriginOS 6 features out of the box, which will be based on Android 16, and will receive four years of Android updates.

This suggests the iQOO 15R should receive software updates until Android 20, remaining relevant for years to come. This is backed by a promise of six years of security patches.

As for the specifications, the iQOO 15R will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, supported by iQOO's Q2 Supercomputing chip to boost the gaming performance. iQOO claims that the smartphone is capable of scoring over 3.5 million points on AnTuTu.
