The Nothing Phone (4a) lineup is all set to launch in India on March 5, 2026, and the brand has been gradually revealing all the details. After teasing that the upcoming phones will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, the Nothing Phone (4a) series is now confirmed to arrive with what the brand is calling a "Glyph Bar".

Nothing Phone (4a) Glyph Bar to bring "bleed-free glow"

Nothing took to its official X handle to confirm that the upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro will be arriving with patented Glyph Bar tech "for a more natural, neutral, bleed-free glow."

As per the brand, the new Glyph Bar on the Phone (4a) will feature nine LEDs that will be individually controllable. Most importantly, the brand reveals that this new tech is, in fact, 40% brighter than the Glyph Interface on the Phone (3a) series.

The brand also attached a GIF accompanying the X post and we get a brief tease of what this Glyph Bar could look like. It's not possible to tell where exactly the brand will fit in this Glyph Bar.

However, thanks to the dedicated Flipkart microsite, we know that the phones will arrive with a vertical pill-shaped camera island this time around, with the Glyph lights around staying untouched. If that's the case, we can expect the Glyph Bar to find its home somewhere closer to the edge near the frame.

Apart from this, the brand also confirmed a while back that the Nothing Phone (4a) series will come with an upgraded UFS 3.1 storage configuration, up from UFS 2.2 on the previous generation.

Nothing Phone (4a) Specifications (Expected)

Thanks to multiple leaks and reports, we have a good idea of what the upcoming Nothing phones could arrive with. For starters, both Nothing Phone (4a) phones could arrive with a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset could be powering the lineup.

For photos and videos, both phones are expected to arrive with a 50 MP main rear shooter paired with an 8 MP ultrawide. However, the Pro could take things up a notch with the addition of a 3.5x periscope telephoto shooter in the setup. At the front, both phones could feature a 32 MP selfie shooter.

The Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro are also said to go bigger on battery with a 5,400mAh unit backed by 50W fast charging.

Apart from this, not too long ago, the Nothing Phone (4a) colours were teased to include Black, Blue, Pink and White options. As for the price, the brand did hint at Nothing phones being expensive in 2026 due to the ongoing RAM crisis.

Since it's confirmed that there will be no flagship Nothing Phone (4) this year, it's understandable why the brand is trying to make the Phone (4a) lineup as pretty as possible, both on paper and off paper. Well, the Glyph Bar certainly sounds enticing and from the looks of it, will be closer to the Glyph Interface than the Phone (3)'s Glyph Matrix.
