The Oppo Find X9 is expected to launch by the end of this year itself. The series is already an active member of the rumour mill and now, a new leak spills the camera setup details of the Find X9 Pro.
As per tech publication Smartprix, the first big change on the Oppo Find X9 Pro is in terms of the number of back cameras. Instead of a quad camera setup that we saw with the Oppo Find X8 Pro, the smartphone is said to settle for a triple rear camera module.
However, the absence of one lens doesn't seemingly translate to a "downgrade". This is because the Find X9 Pro is said to bring a new 200 MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto camera lens. It is allegedly going to be a large 1/1.56-inch sensor with an f/2.1 aperture, 70mm of focal length, 10cm of minimum focus and will support OIS.

To recall, the Find X8 Pro featured a 50 MP floating telephoto and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera. So, with the Find X9 Pro, Oppo is looking to offer a single but capable enough periscope telephoto camera.
Keeping that aside, the main sensor and the ultra-wide-angle lens are also getting upgraded on the Find X9 Pro. It is said to bring a 50 MP Sony LYT828 rear main camera with support for OIS and Auto Focus.
The ultra-wide lens is still going to be a 50 MP lens but is getting upgraded to the Samsung JN5 sensor instead of the Samsung JN1 on the Find X8 Pro.

Lastly, the selfie camera is also reportedly getting improved with a 50 MP Samsung JN5 sensor on the Find X9 Pro. Previously, on the Find X8 Pro, it featured a 32 MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera.
As for the other specifications, the Oppo Find X9 Pro is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset with a 6.78-inch LTPO 120 Hz 1.5K AMOLED display. It's expected to launch with ColorOS based on Android 15, and may arrive in October 2025.
However, since these are still leaks, we will know for sure once the smartphone breaks cover alongside the Oppo Find X9, Find X9 Plus and the Find X9 Ultra.
