Qualcomm is only a few weeks away from unveiling its next iteration of the Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship-grade processor. Ahead of that, a new report has hinted at the alleged Antutu score of the flagship SoC.
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) claims that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (Snapdragon 8 Elite 2) processor will be able to allegedly score between 4.20 million points to 4.40 million points.

If true, this will indicate a whopping 56% gain over the Snapdragon 8 Elite. For context, the Snapdragon 8 Elite managed to achieve only 2.7 million Antutu points.
An important thing to note is that the processor has managed to achieve this feat on Antutu version 11 which is yet to be announced. Hence, we believe that there will be a slight fluctuation between the final iteration of the SoC and the current test one.

However, even then, this indicates an incredibly powerful SoC from Qualcomm. This new revelation is in line with what the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 revealed to score over 11,000 points in the multi-core test. Even the upcoming Dimensity 9500 processor is expected to breach the 4 million mark. So, all in all, the chipset war is heating up with two new immensely powerful SoCs scheduled to launch one after another in the month of September itself.
Speaking of power, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor is expected to be a 3 nm chipset fabricated on the TSMC's 2nd-gen node. It is said to be an octa-core processor with 2x prime Oryon cores and 6x performance Oryon cores. On the GPU front, there could be the Adreno 840 paired with LPDDR5X / LPDDR6 memory.
Apart from this, the chipset is also said to bring several new upgrades which are expected to make on-device AI tasks better, faster and more efficient. With the official Snapdragon Summit on September 23, 2025, we will know for sure whether the upcoming flagship SoC from Qualcomm is as powerful as it has been said to be.
