According to reliable tipster Paras Guglani on X, the Realme 16 Pro will start at Rs 31,999 for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant. Meanwhile, the 8 GB + 256 GB variant is reportedly priced at Rs 33,999, and the top-tier 12 GB + 256 GB variant is said to carry a price tag of Rs 36,999. Meanwhile, the Realme 16 Pro+ price in India is said to start at Rs 39,999 for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant. Additionally, the 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB variants are said to be priced at Rs 41,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively. Now, the last true predecessor of the upcoming Pro+ will be the Realme 14 Pro+, which launched for Rs 29,999 back in 2024. Going by that, the Realme 16 Pro+ will be a whopping Rs 10,000 more expensive.

According to the tipster, Realme could offset some of the price hike by offering a free backpack worth Rs 7,000 with pre-bookings of the phones offline.

Realme 16 Pro Series Specifications

Apart from this, some of the Realme 16 Pro series specifications have also been confirmed and the 16 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The top-of-the-line phone in the lineup also promises to deliver 1.44 million on AnTuTu and will be backed by 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of storage.

As for the display, the upcoming phone is said to pack a 4D curved panel with a peak brightness of 6,500 nits and a touch sampling rate of 2,500 Hz. There will also be 1.48mm slim bezels surrounding the screen all around.

The Realme 16 Pro lineup will also pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, potentially making them one of the best battery phones out there. Apart from that, the phones will also be quite durable with an IP69 rating.

Cameras seem to be the number one highlight of the upcoming phones, with Realme having confirmed a 200 MP Samsung HP5 primary rear shooter. The Realme 16 Pro+ will take things up a notch with a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens, possibly making it one of the best camera phones in the segment.

Since the Realme 16 Pro launch date in India has been scheduled for January 6, 2026, we won't have to wait for long to know all the details.
