After multiple teasers and updates, Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi K90 and the Redmi K90 Pro Max smartphones in China. This is the brand's first "K" series smartphone to carry the "Pro Max" branding and brings some new tricks up its sleeve like the Sound by Bose audio-tuning and more. Here's a quick rundown of its complete specifications, as well as pricing and availability details of both phones.
Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max are powered by Qualcomm's "Elite" chipsets
Both phones from Redmi feature the same 2K TCL M10 RGB 12-bit OLED flat display with Eye Protection Mode 3.0, full-brightness DC Dimming support and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness. Also, they offer 100% DCI-P3 coverage, Dolby Vision playback support and can go as dim as 1 nit of brightness.
The only difference between them is in the display size, where the K90 features a 6.59-inch screen and the K90 Pro Max gets a 6.9-inch display. Both phones are additionally protected by Xiaomi Longjing Glass.

Talking about the design, it remains consistent across both phones with subtle differences. Both the K90 and the K90 Pro Max bring an extended rectangular camera deco at the top, with a glass or leather back panel.
They even feature a new Sound by Bose branding at the module, but the K90 Pro Max stands out with an actual physical oversized Bose-tuned woofer here on top of the dual speakers. It also features a 250mm² large vibration chamber which can deliver up to 200 Hz of bass band and 7W max output.
