Samsung has confirmed that its upcoming Exynos 2600 processor will be the first 2nm chipset to launch in the market. It is expected to power the Galaxy S26 Pro and S26 Edge.
Samsung confirmed the coming of Exynos 2600 in its recently released quarterly financial report, where it also reported that the foundry's total profits were down by over 50%. Exynos 2600 will be manufactured on Samsung's 2nm GAA (Gate-All-Around) process, and will seemingly be the first 2nm chipset to hit the market.

Like the Exynos 2500, we're already aware that the 2600 will be a deca-core chipset with a 1+3+6 configuration. Recent Exynos 2600 Geekbench listing adds further weight to this, whilst also revealing the clock speeds of the SoC.
The processor is expected to boast an Xclipse 960 GPU, which, according to previous leaks, could be 15% better than Adreno 830 inside the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Samsung also claims in the report that Exynos 2600 will offer a significant improvement in NPU performance compared to Exynos 2500 for better on-device AI performance.
The first set of devices that are expected to boast Exynos 2600 are the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro and S26 Edge. The Galaxy S26 Ultra could stick to Samsung-made Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for Galaxy.

The end of 2025 is packed with device launches from Samsung, including the Galaxy S25 FE launching sooner than expected. The firm is also expected to unveil its Tab S11 series soon, while devices like the Z Tri-Fold and Project Moohan XR headset are scheduled to launch by the end of this year.
Considering the Galaxy S25 series launched in January this year, the Galaxy S26 series, powered by Exynos 2600, should also launch at around the same time. With Samsung ditching the Plus variant for Edge, it will be interesting to see if the firm's slimmer offering launches alongside the rest of the S26 series.
