Samsung's upcoming flagship processor, the Exynos 2600 is shaping up to become the first 2nm mobile processor to launch in the market. While the existence of the chipset has been confirmed, a new report now, has outed when the flagship SoC will enter mass production.
According to South Korean publication The Financial News, the upcoming Exynos 2600 processor will enter mass production by end of September 2025. This means that Samsung has been finally able to boost the yield rate of the 2nm wafer, thanks to Samsung Foundry and Samsung LSI joining hands.

If true, this will mark a significant breakthrough for Samsung, especially for Exynos chipsets. Previous month, Samsung confirmed that the Exynos 2600 will be the first 2nm mobile processor. It will be built on Samsung's 2nm GAA (Gate-All-Around) process.
While the brand has not mentioned the SoC's configuration, early leaks hint at a deca-core unit with a 1 + 3 + 6 configuration. Moreover, the recent Exynos 2600 Geekbench listing has managed to give the upcoming chipset credibility with a score of 11,256 points in the multi-core test. It has also revealed three cores clocked at 3.26 GHz, six cores clocked at 2.76 GHz and a single core clocked at 3.80 GHZ.

Apart from this, we can expect the Exynos 2600 to feature a Xclipse 960 GPU and improved NPU performance for better on-device Galaxy AI performance. Speaking of Galaxy, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge and the Galaxy S26 Pro are the first set of devices expected to feature the new SoC.
That said, at launch, the Exynos 2600 will directly compete with the likes of the Apple A19 Pro processor and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. So, it will be interesting to see how the first-ever 2nm processor fares against the industry leaders. We can expect the SoC to debut sometime in January 2026, when the S26 series will also go official.
