Leaks about Samsung's next-generation mid-range smartphones have been circulating for quite some time now. The phones Galaxy A37 and A57 could launch soon, and we're now finding out that the latter has officially surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards website.
Samsung Galaxy A57 5G spotted on BIS
The Galaxy A57 5G has appeared on the BIS certification website bearing model number SM-A576B/DS. This is Samsung's usual naming scheme, where DS means dual SIM, "A57" being the model number, "6" denoting support for 5G and "B" for international 5G models.

The certification was approved on December 31, 2025, and its appearance suggests that the phone has cleared its final regulatory tests and is now approved for launch. This sighting also validates earlier rumours that Samsung could prepone the launch of the Galaxy A07, A37 and A57.
While Samsung has yet to confirm the official launch date of these smartphones, if the timeline holds, we could see the debut as early as February 2026. This would mean that the A series may share the spotlight with the Galaxy S26 series.

While the BIS listing doesn't reveal any specifications, previous Galaxy A57 Geekbench listings have confirmed what to expect. The smartphone is rumoured to run on the unannounced Exynos 1680 chipset paired with an Xclupse 550 GPU. The smartphone is said to run 12 GB RAM and Android 16, suggesting Samsung's plans to place the A57 in the premium mid-range category.
Besides the massive Galaxy A57 camera upgrade, the smartphone may sport a CSOT OLED panel and is expected to run One UI 8.5 with Android 16 features out of the box.
While we do not have any concrete launch date, considering rumours point to a February 2026 launch, we expect the smartphones to launch on February 24, 2026, during the Galaxy Unpacked 2026. More details about the smartphones should be unveiled as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
