The Galaxy S26 series is shaping up to be an interesting lineup with the departure of the base S26 and the replacement of the "Plus" model with a "Pro" one. While most of the devices have leaked online, a new leak now, hints at the rated battery capacity of the Galaxy S26 Pro and the Galaxy S26 Edge.
Fellow tech publication Galaxy Club has reported on the battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro and the Galaxy S26 Edge. The former (codename M1, model SM-S942) will reportedly feature a 4,300mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Edge (codename M2, model SM-S947) is tipped to get a 4,200mAh cell.
This leak corroborates our earlier report that talked about the Galaxy S26 Edge incorporating a new battery technology for a bigger capacity than its predecessors. For context, the Galaxy S25 Edge only offers a 3,900mAh cell.

Apart from this, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will still stick to a 5,000mAh capacity. This is in line with an earlier report that hinted at the rated battery capacity of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
In terms of specifications, the upcoming Galaxy S26 series is said to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset.
Besides, a pretty recent leak has also suggested that Samsung is planning a CoE (Colour Filter of Encapsulation) OLED panel on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, making the display not just brighter but also more power efficient. So, we could see the Galaxy S26 lineup flaunting these new panels.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to launch early next year. So, expect to see more details surface in the coming days and months leading up to the launch.
