Samsung's Privacy Display was one of the standout additions to the Galaxy S26 Ultra this year, offering a built-in way to keep prying eyes off your screen. Now, a fresh leak suggests the company isn't treating it as a one-off feature, as the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro next year is also tipped to get the privacy display technology.
Galaxy S27 Pro Could Get Privacy Display Feature
Credible leaker Digital Chat Station (DCS) has claimed that Samsung is planning to use the Galaxy S26 Ultra's Privacy Display on the upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro. The current prototype is said to be tested on a 6.47-inch screen, which is just a tad smaller than the 6.65-inch display of the Samsung Galaxy S26+.

This means that Samsung has not scraped off the Privacy Display after a single iteration. For those unaware, the Galaxy S26 Ultra uses a triple-layer AMOLED display, which makes use of RL2, VRL and RL1 layers to ensure physical pixel dimming on the screen in a way that makes it resistant to peeking.
It means that anyone standing beside or behind will not be able to view the contents of the screen until and unless they are directly staring at it. This creates a physical visual barrier, which is aimed at improving privacy and discouraging intrusive prying.

Hence, it is good to see Samsung doubling down on its novel tech and not introducing it for the sake of it. Even the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro is tipped to feature Privacy Display.
Moreover, in the same post thread, DCS has responded to a user's comment and has mentioned that the Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature a 2K 6.89-inch screen, while retaining the Privacy Display feature.
As for other details, the Galaxy S27 Pro camera details leaked recently and it could sport the new 200 MP ISOCELL HP5 sensor for the main camera and a 50 MP Sony LYT-901 sensor for the ultra-wide lens. However, it could miss out on S Pen support.
That said, at the time of writing, all of these are just rumours and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Since there are several months left for the Samsung Galaxy S27 launch, we still have plenty of time for more concrete details to emerge. So, stay tuned.
